Murshid in India
During his trip to India, Murshid sent several cards and letters to his family and to the mureeds, many of which have been preserved, whereas many have also been lost in the war years of 1940. In those messages, Murshid always communicated deepest feelings, offering tremendous strength and enthusiasm to all, although he knew very well that he was nearing the day of departure from this world. Some of the letters even arrived weeks after the passing, on account of postal delays, and they became thereby even more significant of Murshid’s blessings, in the work for the spreading of the Message.
Some of the numerous guidelines expressed in Murshid’s letters were personal advice to his mureeds. Others were worded in such a way that they really were obviously destined to all mureeds, as well to future generations, as ultimate communications of Murshid’s Spiritual Testament.
