In the 1980s and 90’s, when Murshid Hidayat Inayat-Khan was making annual visits to Canada for the retreats at Lake O’Hara, one regular guest was Hayat Helen Stadlinger, who had been initiated in Suresnes in 1926. She was proud to say that her membership card was one of the last to be signed by Hazrat Inayat Khan himself.
