Once Bahlool went to the mosque and began to preach to the faithful. For a long time he preached, giving a lengthy and detailed description of Heaven.

The people gathered there listened for a time, but then began to grow impatient. It seemed that Bahlool was never going to stop.

Finally, hoping to disrupt his flow, one of them said, “O Bahlool, enough about Paradise. Why don’t you give us a description of Hell?”

“There is no need,” Bahlool replied. “You will see it well enough with your own eyes.”
