It happened once upon a time that Mullah Nasruddin had a small business, buying and selling certain items. Oh yes, don’t be surprised! The Mullah has done many things in his life. And one day he sent a letter to a supplier in another town, ordering supplies.

After a time, a reply came from the supplier: “Dear Mullah, we are unable to fulfil your order until you pay for the last order.”

“In that case,” Nasruddin wrote back, “cancel my new order. I can’t wait that long.”
