We recently reported on the extraordinary flooding of the Dargah Sufi Inayat Khan in New Delhi, and then gave some idea of the needed repairs and how readers might donate to the recovery. Now pictures are starting to arrive of the work underway to put everything in order.
Floor repairs in the Music Teaching Room behind the office.An enclosure is being built for the generator. When it is complete, the generator will be elevated, to hopefully keep it out of future floods. Work on the electrical panels has not yet started.This area, seldom seen by Dargah visitors, is behind the old retreat house, and requires some roofing to protect it in the future.
