Today, February 5th, is the anniversary of the departure from this world in 1927 of Pir-o-Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan. In the east, this is sometimes referred to as the Urs, or ‘wedding,’ for the soul goes to be united with the Beloved. And the traditional greeting today would be ‘Urs Mubarak!’ – Blessings of the Urs!
