Someone said to Murshid, “In your writings I read two things which contradict each other.”

A pupil said, “Murshid, it is since I met you that I have lost my faith.”

“Wonderful? Why, it is most dreadful, Murshid!”
“It is just as well that you have lost a faith which was so easy to lose. But I am afraid if you are not careful, next you may lose yourself.”
