Beloved Murshid … So beautiful: man as the ideal. Not easy, starting from oneself. I find a path, than get lost.I seem to have gotten somewhere …and find it was nowhere.I get intoxicated and can’t see anymore..I look at people on the tube on rush hour: buisy minds, mobile phones ….Yet inside each one there is that One… How can we possibly deserve such Beauty? This world is crazy.Yet… Here it is.. Underneath the noise…That wich has no name but that i call for all the time in my heart:God!Please Let me see you in me and in men!Or else, why would be here at all?….

Dear Huma, this point of ‘the ideal’ being ‘Man’ brings to mind the very first saying in the Gayan:
When a glimpse of Our image is caught in man,
when heaven and earth are sought in man,
then what is there in the world that is not in man?
If one only explores him, there is a lot in man.

Elsewhere, Hazrat Inayat says (but not an exact quote), God is unseen and without form, but if you will glimpse Him anywhere, it is in the human heart.
