Hazrat Sirri Saqti was a late 9th c.CE Sufi of Baghdad, who was the spiritual master of the influential Hazrat Junaid.

When students would approach Saqti with prayers to confer knowledge on them, he would pray to the Lord to confer such knowledge that they would need no further knowledge, and he be not disturbed by their call when he sat in remembrance of the Lord.
