My merciful Lord,
Pray hear my petition;
I am drifting in the world’s stormy sea,
Rescue me, if it be Thy will.

No one in this world is mine,
Thou alone art truly my own.
Father, mother, son, kinsmen, all
Are companions for their own ends.
Listen to Mira’s prayer, O Beloved :
If it be Thy will, unite her to Thy feet.
